Karina Robinson, Medical Student, Baylor College of Medicine

I am a fourth-year medical student, applying for Pediatrics this fall. I graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Human Biology with a concentration in Global Maternal and Child Health. My clinical and research experiences have shown me that the science of medicine can treat and cure the health consequences of political and social injustices. Yet, it is human connection and the opportunity to educate and advocate for patients and their families that can contribute to creating systemic change. I plan to dedicate my life to ensuring the physical and mental health of children, one of the most vulnerable populations, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
