Stephanie Kukora, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kukora is an Assistant Professor in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Bioethicist at the University of Michigan, where she conducts research on shared decision-making between physicians and parents around goals-of-care decisions for critically ill infants. She has done work on antenatal counseling and resuscitation, tracheostomy, and end-of-life care decisions. She uses medical improv to teach advanced communication skills for difficult clinical conversations to interprofessional medical providers, and is a member of the Pediatric Ethics and Mott Hospital Bereavement Committees.
