Tonia Branche, MD, MPH, FAAP

Tonia Branche graduated from Harvard College with her bachelor's degree in African and African American Studies with a focus in public health. She received her medical and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Miami. She completed pediatrics residency and was a Chief Resident and Assistant Instructor at UT Southwestern and Children's Medical Center Dallas. She is currently a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellow at Northwestern University and Lurie Children's Hospital with interests in health equity and advocacy as it relates to improving birth outcomes for racial and ethnic minorities. She is involved in hospital and division initiatives to improve equity of care in the perinatal and neonatal periods, family experiences in the NICU and diversity, equity and inclusion in medical education recruitment.
