Natalia Henner, MD

Natalia Henner completed her Neonatology Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in 2012, and a Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine Fellowship at Northwestern in 2015. She currently practices Neonatology and Pediatric Palliative Care at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She is a co-director of a perinatal palliative care program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and serves as in interim section head of Pediatric Palliative Care.
Natalia's academic focus is on understanding decision-making during prenatal and neonatal course, as well as improving care for families of infants with life-limiting conditions. She is involved in several systems' improvements and medical education projects with a focus on communication within teams and between families and providers. She is also working on improving symptom management in infants with complex conditions in the Neonatal ICU, as well as care at the end of life.
