Roha Khalid, Clinical Associate Professor Pediatric Neurology
Roha Khalid, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in seizure disorders, including genetic epileptic encephalopathies, medically intractable epilepsy, neonatal seizures, and post-stroke epilepsy.
Dr. Khalid earned her medical degree at the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. After completing a residency in child neurology at Duke University Medical Center, she gained advanced training in epilepsy through a fellowship at University of Missouri Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Hospital. .
Certified in Child Neurology and Epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Khalid joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the International Pediatric Stroke Organization, the Newborn Brain Society, and the American Epilepsy Society, for whom she serves on the Pediatric Content Committee.
