Stacy Ettinger, APRN, PNP-AC/PC
After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with my undergraduate nursing degree, I moved to Dallas to work at Children's Medical Center. I have continued to work at Children's for the past 20 years, though my employer changed to UTSW in 2021. I initially worked as an inpatient nurse on the hematology/oncology/BMT unit and then went back to school to obtain my masters in nursing and subsequently graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with my MSN in pediatric nursing, both primary and acute care. I worked as an inpatient PNP for the bone marrow transplant service for about 9 years before I transitioned to the outpatient setting where I continue to work now. I work in the outpatient oncology clinic and primarily take care of our neuroblastoma patient population. This position has its ups and downs but continues to be extremely rewarding. Getting to see success stories makes it all worth it. Outside of work, I am usually spending time with my family including my two sons who keep me active and busy.
