Karl Rathjen, M.D.
Dr. Rathjen is an honor graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Rathjen completed his general surgery internship and his orthopaedic surgery residency a the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children's Hospital in Dan Diego, the University of California at San Diego. Dr.. Rathjen is a member of the American Academy of Orthpaedic Surgeons, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the Scoliosis Research Socityh , the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society and served as president from June 2016 through June 2017. His research interest include limb lengthening, scoliosis, developmental dysplasia of the hip and clubfoot.
