Scottish Rite Hospital's "17th Annual Spine Symposium" (JS2401A)
Current treatment strategies and research activities related to pediatric spine deformity commonly seen will be presented/discussed during this full-day educational course. This course will provide updates to providers on the latest state-of-the-art treatment options for pediatric spinal deformities and introduce new and innovative treatment options through the research activities at SRC. Lectures will be followed by case presentations and further discussion, led by the staff, fellows and residents from Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Target Audience
This activity is appropriate for pediatricians, family practitioners, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses and allied health professionals with an interest in pediatric orthopedic conditions.

- Identify and discuss the most common pediatric cervical deformities that require surgical treatment.
- Review common presentation (physical exam and radiographic findings) of pediatric cervical deformities
- Discuss surgical solutions for pediatric cervical deformities.
