Tosan Oruwariye, MD MPH MSc FAAP CPE CAQH
Dr Tosan Oruwariye is a Physician leader, Clinician, Educator, Researcher and Entrepreneur with over 20 years of national and international experience. With a practice, located in the Bronx, NY, Dr Oruwariye has dedicated her clinical service to the underserved in the Bronx community. Dr. Oruwariye trained as a Pediatrician and Preventive Medicine specialist. She earned her medical degree at the College of Medicine, Ibadan and completed her residency at Montefiore Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital in NY. She obtained her Master’s degrees in Public Health at Yale University and Masters in Clinical Research at Albert Einstein University. She is Board certified in Pediatrics and is a Certified Physician Executive. Dr Tosan Oruwariye participated in clinical research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and held different management positions. She was the interim CEO and Chief Medical Officer at Morris Heights Health Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Physician leaders and American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review. Dr Oruwariye is the Medical Director of Tiga Pediatrics located in the Bronx through which she engages with the community in promoting health and wellness. She has been very engaged with the education of members of the community in regards to the Covid pandemic. Dr Oruwariye Co-founded MaTontine and organization dedicated to helping underserved women in Africa through technology and entrepreneurship. She is a physician at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) focusing on drug development.
