Dr. Chinyere Anyaogu AssistantProfessor in OBGYN, Albert Einstein College of Medicine Bronx NYC, an active obstetrician gynecologist physician in New York with special interest in Public Health, Health Care disparities in particular maternal health.
Dr. Anyaogu received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Nigeria college of medicine with honors and graduated on the Dean’s list 1991.
and subsequent residency in Medicine and OBGYN at the Albert Einstien college of medicine Montefiore Medical center program she is double boarded in Internal medics and OBGYN.
She attended the Columbia School of Public health with a focus on maternal and child health in the family health and population control division.
Following private practice in the South where she was involved in collaborative perinatal programs she returned to NY. She was the Vice Chair of OBGYN New York Health + Hospitals NCB hospital from 2015 to 2020. New York health + Hospitals is the The Dept of OBGYN.
She subsequently serves as the Dep CMO of NYCH+ H of JMC/ NCB hospitals of the New Yorkt Health and hospitals the largest municipal healthcare system in the United States with $6.7 billion in annual revenues, serving 1.4 million patients, including more than 475,000 uninsured city residents,and interpreter services in more than 190 languages.
She has undergone speciality training in Quality and Safety in healthcare undergoing the IHI Patient Safety certificate program, and Clinical Quality Fellowship program of GNYHA. She is on the Bronx Black Maternal health review
New York City Maternal Mortality review committee, New York State Maternal Mortality Review Advisory Board and a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.
