Amelia Snead, BSN, RN
Amelia graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2014 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started her career as a bedside nurse in the NICU at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas that year and joined the high-risk resuscitation team 2.5 years later. In her 7 years on the team, Amelia has participated in several neonatal research studies and was appointed nursing chair of the Golden Hour Committee in 2021. Most recently, she has focused her attention on our smallest patients and initiated the "Nano project", guiding the protocols for care of 22-23 EGA infants born at Parkland Hospital.
