2024 Oncology Year in Review (RP2407A) - Late Registration

This program will provide participants with the latest information available as presented at the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting, 2024 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) meeting, and major findings from other meetings that took place in 2024. Oncology/Hematology faculty members from UT Southwestern Medical Center will provide participants with analysis of the more clinically applicable presentations from this year's national conferences via disease-specific didactic talks and panel discussions. 

Target Audience

This activity is appropriate for oncologists (from the community and from UT Southwestern), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, oncology nurses, oncology fellows, residents, and students interested in the treatment of cancer.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recall and describe the newest developments in the treatment of breast cancer, lung cancer, genitourinary cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, head/neck cancer, melanoma, and hematological malignancies.
  2. Discuss the integration of multimodality treatment strategies, including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy into the management of patients with cancer.

This conference is scheduled to take place in-person. Live-stream and/or Hybrid options are not available. 

Parking

Visitor parking is available in the open lot directly in front of the building or in the parking garage adjacent to the building. Please follow signs to garage entrance. Enter the Radiation Oncology Building (with green columns in the driveway) through the main entrance on the ground floor and take the elevators (found left of the information desk) to the third floor. Follow the directional signs to the conference room. Parking is complimentary.
