Shannon Alejandro, MD

Dr. Alejandro is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery. She has special interests in foot and ankle sports injuries, ankle arthroscopy, foot and ankle arthritis, total ankle replacements, foot and ankle reconstructive procedures, bunion and hammertoe correction, and minimally invasive procedures.
She was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. She attended Lehigh University where she ran track and cross country.
After receiving a BS in biology Dr. Alejandro attended Wake Forest school of Medicine. Following medical school, she completed an orthopaedic residency at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Alejandro found Dallas, TX for her fellowship in foot and ankle surgery with The Baylor Dallas foot and ankle fellowship.
Outside of work, Dr. Alejandro enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and dogs. Her hobbies include running, hiking and the occasional true crime podcast and series.
