2026 UT Southwestern Liver Disease and Transplant Symposium (RP2604B)
This hybrid educational event offers the flexibility to join either in person or virtually and provides an engaging look at the innovative work happening within the Liver Transplant Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Through a blend of expert insights and real-world case scenarios, this session will highlight how our program is expanding access to lifesaving liver transplantation. The program will also showcase emerging advances, such as machine perfusion technologies that are helping to expand the donor pool and create new opportunities for patients in need.
Participants will explore the latest research and patient cases involving severe acute alcoholic hepatitis (SAAH) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), learn more about living-donor liver transplantation (LDLT) to better understand optimal referral timing, and gain a forward-looking view of liver transplantation throughout 2026 and beyond.
We look forward to bringing colleagues together for an informative and inspiring discussion about the future of liver transplantation!
