ForwardDavid Markus, ECBA
David Markus serves as an Academic Systems Analyst on the Research & Academic Systems (RAS) - Academic Affairs Technology team. He joined UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2022 and spent time as a Technical Support Specialist for clinical and academic teams, the latter in support of the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Surgery. Prior to joining UT Southwestern, David taught Latin and Spanish at private middle and high schools in Texas and Connecticut. David spent a great deal of time supporting academic research labs and is a passionate advocate for research at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He received an Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) in March 2026.
