This program will provide a review and update in key areas of epilepsy management. Emphasis will be placed on updates in diagnosis, management, and the most current treatment modalities that have practical applications for neurologists, other clinicians, and health care professionals.

Target Audience
This one-day live CME activity is designed for Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Allied Health Professionals, and other healthcare professionals who are interested in learning about the most current treatment modalities and best management practices, in order to improve patient care and health outcomes.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants shall be able to:
- Recognize patients that could benefit from a more detailed evaluation for possible epilepsy surgery.
- Discuss the benefits of utilizing magnetoencephalography in the pre surgical evaluation of patients with epilepsy.
- Review the latest evidence behind cannabinoids in the treatment of drug resistant epilepsy.
- Distinguish abnormal EEG findings from benign variants. They will become more experienced in correctly characterizing different seizure semiologies.
- Incorporate the latest technology and surgical options for treating patients with drug resistant epilepsy.
- Strategize on how to deal with ethical problems and dilemmas in clinical practice.
- Evaluate the newer anti-epileptic medications and feel more comfortable prescribng these.
