UTSW Orthopaedic Surgery Charles F. Gregory Memorial Lecture (RP2206K)
The annual Charles F. Gregory Memorial Lecture is dedicated to the memory of the first Division Chief of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He served as Chief from 1956 until 1976 and ushered in our first Academic Orthopaedic program that we follow today. This year's guest speaker is Dr. Valerae O. Lewis, Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Attendees will learn about the specialty of and patient care in Orthopedic Oncology and osteosarcoma. Our 6 graduating residents will present their best scholarly activity that will cover a number of current orthopaedic topics of interest to orthopaedic surgeons. This activity provides informative sessions that are tailored to current updates in orthopaedic surgery.
