ForwardInterventional Sports Ultrasound Cadaver Course (RP2304A)

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound can be used by clinicians to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and guide procedures. This hands-on workshop focuses on practical application of ultrasound skills towards procedures through a cadaver course held in the UT Southwestern Simulation Center. Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who have an interest in incorporating ultrasound guidance for procedures in their clinics should attend this one-day course.

Learning Objectives
- Describe anatomical structures when planning and performing ultrasound-guided procedures
- Display technical skills for needle guidance and probe positioning
- Explain risks associated with specific ultrasound-guided procedures
- Develop a pathway towards incorporating ultrasound into clinical practice

From I-35E: Exit Inwood Rd; At the 2nd stop-light, turn left at UT Southwestern Drive to West Campus Building 3; Self-Park is straight ahead; (Visitor Parking is on the 2nd Floor); From the front door entrance you will see elevators on your right and go up to the 2nd floor; Upon exiting the elevator you will see a SIMULATION CENTER sign over the door.
From Mockingbird Ln & Inwood Rd: Follow Inwood Rd toward I-35E; After you go underneath Harry Hines Blvd. take the first right turn into West Campus Building 3; Self-Park is straight ahead; (Visitor Parking is on the 2nd Floor); From the front door entrance you will see elevators on your right and go up to the 2nd floor; Upon exiting the elevator you will see a SIMULATION CENTER sign over the door.
