Interventional Sports Ultrasound Cadaver Course (RP2304A)

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound can be used by clinicians to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and guide procedures. This hands-on workshop focuses on practical application of ultrasound skills towards procedures through a cadaver course held in the UT Southwestern Simulation Center. Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers who have an interest in incorporating ultrasound guidance for procedures in their clinics should attend this one-day course.

- Describe anatomical structures when planning and performing ultrasound-guided procedures
- Display technical skills for needle guidance and probe positioning
- Explain risks associated with specific ultrasound-guided procedures
- Develop a pathway towards incorporating ultrasound into clinical practice
