RADIOLOGY TRAINEE RESEARCH DAY 2024 (RP2405F)

May 15, 2024

Radiology Trainee Research Day is an avenue for the current trainees in the Department of Radiology and outside the Department working on Radiology-related projects to share, present, and discuss their current ongoing projects. This provides the current state-of-the-art research and development activities to educate physicians and other clinicians such that they can be incorporated into clinical practice as needed. These presentations will cover a variety of basic science topics, a number of prospective, retrospective, and translation studies carried out in the Department of Radiology, which provide concrete examples of experimental design, statistical analyses, and hypothesis driven research. The trainees' presentations will be followed by a keynote lecture from an invited speaker, Dr. Vikas Gulani, who is the world renowned expert on MRI technology development and translation, global access to imaging, quantitative MRI and relaxometry, fast imaging, and clinical body MRI with particular focus on liver and prostate imaging. Trainees, Physicians, Scientists, and Researchers with an interest in the practical application of recent research findings in the field of radiology should attend.
