Adaptive Radiotherapy (ART) Symposium (RP2410A)

April 3, 2025 to April 4, 2025

X-RAY BASED ONLINE ADAPTIVE RADIATION THERAPY (ART) SYMPOSIUM explores the rationale for incorporating adaptive radiotherapy to improve disease outcomes and will specifically provide an overview of the workflow, new challenges, and practical solutions and suggestions for site-specific implementation for x-ray based adaptive therapy. The course, designed to benefit providers and clinical teams in radiology, radiation oncology and medical oncology, will feature didactic lectures, panel discussions, interactive Q&A sessions, and live skills/equipment demonstration. During discussions of novel practices, in addition to institutional experiences, speakers will reference published data.

Target Audience

This course is designed for providers and clinical teams in radiology, radiation oncology, and medical oncology.

Learning Objectives

Learning Objectives include:

  • Discuss the clinical evidence and published data regarding novel practices of x-ray based online adaptive therapy;
  • Review key aspects for the clinical implementation of individual treatment sites;
  • Examine the relative benefits of adaptive radiotherapy for each treatment site;
  • Explore the key features of adaptive planning to allow seamless online adaptive process (e.g.-transitioning from conventional to adaptive planning; possible errors; workflow enhancement with incorporating multi-modality images).
