111 Emergency Medicine Grand Rounds: "Trauma Visual Odyssey" (010914)
This series is designed to provide continuing education for emergency medicine physicians and staff. This series is intended to deliver education to our target audience using non-formal structure that allows more flexibility and options in methods, experiential, reinforcement, and integrative.
Target Audience
Practicing Emergency Medicine faculty and community physicians, residents in training, fellows, medical students, nurses, and other interested health care professionals.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be able to:
1. To review injuries frequently seen in the emergency department using a visual diagnosis and case study format.
2. To describe important trauma injury patterns demonstrated on chest, pelvic, cervical and extremely radiography.
3. To discuss the emergency management of common eye injuries.
