Physicians and Nurses involved in the evaluation and management of diseases affecting the central nervous system.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
1. Discuss the basics of the clinical side of starting a practice including solving problems in the OR and private clinic.
2. Explain the boundary between potentially-critical medical intervention and futile end-of-life care.
3. Identify JFK's injuries and treatment at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
4. Describe basic business issues including clinical staff, administrative staff, billing, coding and collecting.
