It is felt that providing an updated scientific knowledge foundation will enhance diagnosis and treatment in the surgical care of patients.  Surgical Grand Rounds consists of a one-hour lecture accompanied by slides and a questions and answer session

Residents in training, fellows, medical students and other interested health care professionals.

At the conclusion of this series, the participants should be able to:  1) Discuss recent clinical and research advances in the surgical areas listed above; and 2) Apply current treatment approaches to their clinical practice.
