At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- To identify what types of prophylaxis are recommended after joint arthroplasty.
- To recognize what comorbidities are associated with increased likelihood of readmission.
- To recall which patients benefit from surgery and what should be done preoperatively.
