Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, this series is designed to assist participants in distinguishing the importance of treatment regimens by reviewing translational research as it relates to the ongoing treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the central nervous system (CNS).

Target Audience

UT Southwestern Physicians, Residents, Fellows, Community Physicians, and Nurses.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Associate how ongoing review of translational research is related to current treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the CNS.
2. Describe the different treatment options for patient who cannot tolerate first line treatment of chemotherapy and radiation.
3. Recognize the importance of expediting the treatment program for recently diagnosed malignant tumors.
