USMD Arlington's 'Precision Medicine in Cancer: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow' (JS2212I)
This activity is an annual didactic lecture and interactive Q&A organized by the Oncology Department at USMD Arlington. This year's course will review and define the Precision Medicine mechanism as it relates to the molecular biology of cancer. The justification of therapeutic development history and establishment of molecular signal target identification will be presented using referenced slides and focus on FDA registration results. Justification of the patient populations that are most sensitive, examples of in-depth targeted therapeutic background and results will be reviewed, and cost effectiveness of appropriately targeted patients will be provided.
Target Audience
The activity will convene USMD Arlington-affiliated physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who are interested in the care of cancer patients.
