Purpose and OverviewThe purpose of this presentation is to give an overview of the therapeutic landscape for advanced melanoma.  We will review and focus on the current management with immune checkpoint inhibitors including adjuvant therapy and treatment for metastatic disease.  We will discuss novel and emerging therapies beyond immune checkpoint inhibitors including relevant studies.

Purpose and OverviewDespite strong associative evidence of a gut-joint axis driving inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and spondyloarthritis (SpA), the specific mechanisms by which microbes or their products trigger intestinal immune dysregulation and ultimately inflammatory arthritis have not been elucidated. This presentation will discuss emerging hypotheses that connect microbial and mucosal changes associated with RA and SpA with the development of inflammation in the joint.
