Purpose and OverviewHealth disparities are multifactorial. The way patients engage with their care can be deeply impacted by the way we interact with them as medical providers. Each case we will explore today highlights how interactions with our patients could improve their patient experience that effects their actions, and potentially their outcomes.

Purpose and OverviewUnderstanding frailty is the cornerstone of the clinical care of older adults. There are validated assessment tools of frailty and effective interventions to improve frailty and its associated outcomes. Despite these advancements, clinicians are not familiar with frailty assessment and the utility of frailty assessment in clinical practice.

The seventh annual Charles Morris Ginsburg Simulation-Based Quality Improvement and Research Forum is offered to faculty, residents, medical students, nurses, engineers, researchers, and staff members to increase interprofessional collaboration in simulation, provide guidance in translating simulation training to clinical outcomes and to showcase high quality simulation-related education, research, as well as quality improvement projects. This forum is designed to bring these teams together, to learn with and from one another.

This one-day live course is designed to provide practicing ophthalmologists a comprehensive day of updates and latest advances in the ophthalmology field. Didactic lectures and interactive Q&A session will discuss: rare and unusual cases which might otherwise not be seen; reports on results of current and new surgical procedures; technologies and treatment modalities which could be incorporated into practices; and comprehensive reviews of other ophthalmic topics germane to the everyday practice of ophthalmology.
