This course is designed to meet the educational needs of pediatricians, family practitioners, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, and health care professionals providing direct care to children.

- Discuss surveillance and screening and the role of each in care, organizing the various tools available according to the type of information they provide and their role in trauma informed care.
- Identify an appropriate clinical response to trauma symptoms and discuss the practical tools for use in the office or hospital setting.
