Sasha Amiri, MD, MS

Sasha's hometown is Toronto, Canada and he completed his undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. He acquired his medical education at Saba University School of Medicine, Saba. Dr. Amiri is a Gold Humanism Honor Society Member and an American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Representative. He has contributed to advocacy campaigns focusing on firearm safety and mental health. Dr. Amiri is currently completing his residency at the University of Buffalo, NY, and he is the chief resident for advocacy. He is very active in TECaN (Trainees and Early Career Neonatologists), which is a sub-section of the AAP Section on Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. His areas of interest for research include neonatal palliative care and Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS).
