Target Audience
This symposium is designed for family physicians, internists, geriatricians, endocrinologists, rheumatologists, orthopedic surgeons, bariatric surgeons, nephrologists, and other health care providers who are interested in the care of patients with bone related diseases and mineral metabolism.
Learning Objectives
- Develop a strategy for best choice therapy for osteoporosis
- Recognize the impact of bone and kidney stone disease following bariatric surgery and in patients with mild kidney disease
- Recognize clinical characteristics of the patients with hypercalcemic and hypocalcemic disorders
- Recognize the latest in the clinical practice in diagnosis and management of kidney stones
