The purpose of this program is to:1) Provide a forum to review and discuss the clinical management of patients and to evaluate issues confronted by today’s Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in both public and private clinical practice and medical research settings.2) Provide a forum through which current UT Southwestern protocols and Ethical issues are addressed.The course material will be presented through lecture presentations, power points, case studies, question and answer sessions, and video presentations.

Functional neurological disorder (FND) is a common neuropsychiatric condition that leads to higher rates of disability, diminished quality of life, and increased health care utilization. It continues to be under-recognized within the medical community. A compassionate communication of the diagnosis and referral to evidence-based treatments can result in considerable improvements for those living with FND. This live-streamed webinar aims to provide education about the diagnosis, management, and multidisciplinary approach to FND presented via didactic lectures and discussion.
