SRC's Controversies in Pediatric Limb Reconstruction 2023 (JS2302B)
This 2-day live and interactive symposium will provide a venue for physicians from around the world to collaborate on the latest techniques, case discussions, and controversies in various pediatric limb deformities including deformity correction and lengthening of pathologic bone and challenges with joint deformities. Our goal is to provide a deep learning experience for practitioners and provoke discussion that improves care for children everywhere.
Target Audience
The target audience includes practicing pediatric orthopedic surgeons, pediatric orthopedic fellows, and general orthopedic surgeons with an interest in lower extremity reconstruction for a variety of pediatric orthopedic conditions.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and discuss the most current controversies in the management of lower extremity deformity and length differences in patients with pathologic bone.
- Identify and discuss the evolving techniques to improve the rate and quality of bone healing associated with bone lengthening and deformity correction.
- Identify and discuss the most current controversies and treatment options for complex joint deformities associated with congenital, syndromic, and developmental conditions in children and adolescents.
- Identify and discuss the most current trends in limb lengthening and review the controversies surrounding these treatments.
